David Haghighi
David Haghighi has coordinated Real Estate financing for the past 10 years. At an early age, David began learning about Real Estate. As a child, he was constantly scouting for property with his father, who was an active investor.
David's expertise originated from market turbulence during the late 1980's. The banking crisis truly affected David and created a burning desire to learn as much as possible about Real Estate lending practices as well as the laws that govern lending entities.
After developing a comfort level in the financing process, guidelines and numerous restrictions, David was determined to go into business for himself. He found success with customers who appreciated the education he provided as well as his timeliness and punctuality.
Upon teaming up with Peter Edelmuth and Mitchell Overland of PacificFirst Mortgage in Carlsbad, David was extremely pleased with their ability to process and effectively fund commercial financing. He found his niche in the hospitality arena and continues to enjoy success in funding in excess of $50 Million per year in hospitality loans.
Mitchell Overland
Mitchell Overland has coordinated real estate financing since 1991. He began his career working as a residential Loan Officer for a small company in the south side of Chicago.
Several years later he had an opportunity at a National Lending institution where he advanced from being a Loan Officer to becoming Sales Manager overseeing the sales and marketing efforts of 21 Loan Officers.
With a desire to broaden his experience, he was promoted to the Operations Department where he became extremely knowledgeable with the inner workings of compliance, underwriting and processing, eventually becoming Assistant V. P. of Operations. It is in this position that the opportunity arose to become involved with commercial financing.
As with residential financing, Mitchell applied himself and kept up to date with all aspects of commercial financing programs as well as with the latest industry technology.
After visiting San Diego in 2005, Mitchell decided to leave the Chicago area and bring his talents to Southern California. He joined PacificFirst Mortgage during which time he has continued to be a successful Mortgage Advisor in the field of Hospitality Financing. Mitchell's thorough understanding in his field, coupled with an extremely agreeable personality, has allowed him to be an invaluable asset to PacificFirst Mortgage as well as his numerous clients.
